Join the Listowel BIA on Friday, November 14th, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM for an evening of festive shopping, family fun, and holiday cheer throughout the downtown core.

Featured Event: Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

Experience the downtown lights from a beautiful horse-drawn carriage! Tickets are mandatory and must be pre-booked.

• RIDE TIME: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Event runs 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

• COST: $5.00 per person (A small fee to secure your time slot)

• DURATION: Approximately 15 minutes.

Carriage Ride Logistics (Please Read)

• Location: Rides start and finish at the Ward & Uptigrove Parking Lot (The main hub).

• Children: Kids under 2 years old ride free on a parent’s lap.

• Accessibility: Please note the carriage ride is not fully wheelchair accessible.

• Late Arrivals: We cannot guarantee a ride if you miss your scheduled 15-minute time slot. Please arrive early!

The BIA is giving away a $1,000 Grand Prize in Shop Local Dollars! This program is designed to reward you for making your holiday purchases downtown.

• THE PRIZE: $1,000 in Listowel Shop Local Dollars (One Winner)

• HOW TO ENTER: Shoppers must visit and make a purchase at SIX (6) DIFFERENT Listowel BIA businesses.

• PROCESS: Attach the six unique receipts to the official Holly Jolly Passport card.

• CARD START: November 12th, 2025 (Get your card from any participating BIA business!)

• DEADLINE: December 5th, 2025

• DROP-OFF: Completed passports must be returned to the Listowel BIA Office at 580 Main Street Listowel.

Event Activities & Locations

The whole downtown core will be celebrating, but the main activities are centered here:

• Main Hub: Ward & Uptigrove Parking Lot.

• Activities at the Hub: Hockey activities, Arts & Crafts Tents, Food Trucks and Vendors

• Activities Roaming the Core: Mr. & Mrs. Santa and Christmas Carolers will be moving throughout the downtown area for photos and holiday music.

Important Logistics

Parking

Half of the Ward & Uptigrove lot will remain open. All other public parking lots and street parking throughout the downtown are available.

Weather/Cancellation

This is a rain-or-shine event, but will be cancelled only for severe weather (ice, extreme cold/rain). The final cancellation decision will be made and announced on Thursday, November 13th, by Noon. Check this website and our main social media channels for updates.
