Listowel BIA Announces Winners of February “Win Big” Shop Local Campaign
LISTOWEL, ON | March 3, 2026 – The Listowel Business Improvement Area (BIA) is excited to announce the winners of the February installment of the 2026 “Win Big” Shop Local campaign. After an energetic week of competition on 100.1 The Ranch, two local residents have claimed a total of $1,000 in Shop Local Dollars.
Taking home the grand prize of $750 is Jolene Weber. Jolene blew the competition away during the live radio call-in event, successfully identifying an incredible 17 downtown businesses within the 15-second challenge window. Her rapid-fire knowledge of the local business community set a high bar for the year-long campaign.
Securing the second-place prize of $250 is Kathy Deniet, who also demonstrated an impressive command of the Listowel business landscape during her on-air segment, proving that local pride runs deep in North Perth.
“We love hearing how well our residents know their town,” said Nicholas Manglal-lan, BIA Coordinator. “This contest isn't just about the giveaway; it’s about celebrating the shops, services, and restaurants that make Listowel a destination. Jolene and Kathy both 'killed it' on the air, and we are thrilled to see these Shop Local dollars go to people who truly value our community.”
The “Win Big” campaign is a year-long initiative by the Listowel BIA, allocating $12,000 annually to encourage local shopping through creative monthly activations. Winners will be able to pick up their prizes at the BIA office starting March 9th.
The BIA’s next major activation will coincide with Paddyfest in March, featuring a “Live on Location” find with $1,000 in prizes spread across five secret downtown locations.
