Listowel BIA Announces Unprecedented $12,000 "Win Big" Shop Local Campaign for 2026

LISTOWEL, ON – Nicholas Manglal-lan, Coordinator for the Listowel Business Improvement Area (BIA), is proud to announce a transformative shift in the organization’s 2026 community engagement strategy. Moving from seasonal promotions to a year-round "Win Big" initiative, the BIA has officially committed $12,000 in Shop Local dollars to be distributed throughout the calendar year.

This landmark campaign is designed to support the local businesses that provide residents with reasons to be proud of Listowel every single day. By allocating $1,000 each month, the BIA aims to remove barriers to local discovery and encourage a consistent "Shop Local" habit that sustains the downtown core through all four seasons.

"I pride myself on a strategy that puts my community first," says Nicholas Manglal-lan. "The plans I have to share over these next few weeks speak to our commitment to this town. We want everyone—both our local residents and those visiting from outside our borders—to experience the wonder of our local businesses."

To ensure the community remains informed and engaged, the BIA has established a primary communications network. All official updates, exclusive news, and "Ways to Win" will be featured through three key channels:

1. On-Air: 100.1 The Ranch (The BIA's primary media provider for 2026)

2. Online: www.discoverlistowel.com

3. Social Media: Listowel BIA (Facebook and Instagram)

The 2026 campaign is already in motion, currently supporting the North Perth "Taste of Listowel" event with a $1,000 sponsorship. The first monthly "Way to Win" will launch live on 100.1 The Ranch next week from February 16^th – 20^th, 2026.

The Listowel BIA invites the community to follow along as they roll out a series of strategic initiatives designed to keep Downtown Listowel vibrant, successful, and local.
